The City of Edwardsville boasts to be the third oldest city in Illinois and is home to over 24,000 residents. It is located approximately 20 miles from downtown St. Louis and has easy and quick access to many different interstates making the city an excellent choice for commuters. Edwardsville also has a large commercial center with a diverse mix of shops, shopping centers, restaurants, historic sites, and recreational facilities. Ebbets Field, Governor's Way, Hearthstone Place, and Hidden Acre Estates are part of the Edwardsville Community Unit School District #7. The Southern Illinois University Edwardsville campus is no more than a few miles away from each subdivision as well. Numerous other universities and colleges are within 25 miles as well.
